There are a lot of foundations right now that have a dropper in the bottle. This is an overview of some of the most loved versions of this type of foundation. Giorgio Armani brought us the dropper foundation in 2012. It stayed all day and everyone loved it. Now the category has many option. It has somewhat of a liquid to powder feeling as it drys. Applying skincare underneath the foundation is important as well as a good primer. (Oh, you knew I was going to say that.) I will sort them alphabetically by brand name. But before we dive into the foundations let’s start with something else in store that has a dropper and is extremely cutting edge.
CoverFX– Custom Cover Drops $44- This is different than a foundation, this is actually concentrated pigments. It can actually be mixed into any product. It can be mixed into your favorite: moisturizer, serum, primer or sunscreen for a sheer wash of color. It can be mixed with your foundation to make your foundation have more coverage. Personally, I felt when I added it to my foundation I just looked closer to flawless. It didn’t make my foundation heavier, or cakey just more coverage. Here is what CoverFX says about this innovative product: These revolutionary drops feature our Flash Fusion Technology™, so as soon as you drop, the solution flashes off leaving behind the pigment that weightlessly transforms your favorite beauty product into the sheerest tint all the way to a total coverage foundation, depending on how many drops you add. The pigments are coated with Lecithin, which is biochemically similar to the skin, to ensure ease of blending and the smoothest application. With unprecedented control, you are free to customize coverage like never before.
