Timeless Vitamin C + E Feurlic Acid vs Skinceuticals Vitamin C +E Feurlic Acid

This is not a REVIEW!
I say that, because you can’t try a product for a week or two and really have the ability to do a review. I say any product you have only used a week or so is more of a “First Impressions”. But I know people have questions on the current status of the vitamin C.

I am testing TIMELESS Vitamin C + E Feurlic Acid. I am comparing it to Skinceuticals Vitamin C + E Feurlic Acid. The points I’m looking at are:

Price:Timeless wins

Smell: Timeless wins

pH: Skinceuticals wins – I have reached out to Timeless. Skinceuticals has a patented pH of 2.5-3. Timeless states their pH is 2.4. (Vitamin C needs to be under 3.5 to be effective, just as a point of reference)

Oxidation: Timeless might win this.

Similarities that won’t be compared.
Delivery system: alcohol based delivery system
Absorption: Similar due to the delivery system being the same

Ingredients: Very similar
Timeless Vitamin C+E Serum: Water, Ethoxydiglycol, L-Ascorbic Acid, Propylene Glycol, Magnesium Ascorbyl Phosphate, Alpha Tocopherol, Polysorbate 80, Panthenol, Ferulic Acid, Sodium Hyaluronate, Benzylalcohol, Dehydroacetic Acid, Fragrance

Skinceuticals CE Ferulic Ingredients:
Water, Ethoxydiglycol, L-ascorbic Acid, Propylene Glycol, Glycerin, Laureth-23, Alpha Tocopherol, Phenoxyethanol, Triethanolamine, Ferulic Acid, Panthenol, Sodium Hyaluronate

What does Vitamin C do?
Photo-protection: a concentration of 15%- 20% of l-ascorbic acid alone can reduce the signs of photo-ageing and provide protection against free radicals. Although Vitamin C can provide photo-protection on its own, it works best in conjunction with vitamin E to limit UV damage.
Collagen production: l-ascorbic acid increases the production of collagen. This, coupled with its anti-oxidant ability, results in reducing fine lines, improves the elasticity of skin and brightens complexion.
Depigmentation: vitamin C helps prevent melanin production by inhibiting the tyrosinase enzyme. This is useful in the case of hyperpigmentation, red/ dark spots or uneven skin tone.
Inflammatory skin conditions: its anti-inflammatory properties makes it a good adjuvant in treating rosacea or acne vulgaris.

I will repost when I have a longer test time.
